I am 54xx, getting soooooo close! Did you get a Ford shipping notification or was this from FedEx?
I got no notifications. I just checked my FedEx accounts, which lists incoming shipments. Ford order page has no info just shipping in June

I should really be soon at this point! Glad to see more shipments going out this week after last week.

I wasn't able to place an order until about 8am PST on Feb 29 and have an order number just over 9000. Originally I had a May ship date which subsequently got pushed to June. I figure I'll see it sometime in July. I'm very happy that I have an A2Z adapter in hand right now to tide me over.
That’s odd. Because I ordered at 9:12 EST and had an order right at 3000, and my original delivery date was May, and a coworker ordered 10 minutes after me and his date was always June.

The new dispensers (V4) have longer cables, a design decision likely made in anticipation of Tesla opening up to other makes.
Here is a new Tesla site that's not online yet with the V4 dispensers and with the way they oriented them, even V3 dispensers would have worked. But the V4 oriented like this will even work for the EV trucks (Silverado and Cybertruck) that have the charge port in the rear when parking nose in.
Ford Mustang Mach-E Second batch of NACS adapters are shipping out 1718225581872-t3

You made me check FedEx and what do know, I have a label from Dearborn. I'm #3782. It has no delivery date yet. I have notifications turned on and it hasn't notified me yet...maybe because it's so early.

Anyway, it's going to arrive just after I leave on my 2 week vacation in the Mach-E. :(

My experience is that FedEx will only email you when it's picked up, not when the label is initially created.

#5189 here and no label yet.

Order number 90003934, ordered on 2-29-2024 and still says in production. I called a while back and they said there was a glitch in the system, according to the computer skipped ordered placed on the 29th because that day doesn't exist! I just called all excited and they said "Oh yeah yours says shipped, it was delivered yesterday in Florida" I LIVE IN ARIZONA!! @Ford Motor Company
Oof. Did you previously live in Florida or something? That sucks. Hopefully they can straighten it out and send you an adapter at the correct location and in a timely manner. Mine was lost in transit, and while I got confirmation that it will be replaced, I don't know when yet.

I wish the Tempest in my avatar was mine. In Pontiac circles, the car is known as The Grey Ghost. It was a grocery getter until GM kicked Pontiac out of the SCCA program after the ‘70 season. The engineer in charge of the program (who also happens to be the father of the Firebird Trans Am) gave his bosses the finger by taking his wife’s 7 year old car and turning it into a race car. It was the only mid-sized car racing against the factory Pony Cars in 1971 (as a privateer effort). Bob Tullius drove it to a P2. It’s been winning HTA races with John Hildebrand at the wheel. ??

I know what you mean about lack of talent. That’s me. I put guys in the Toyotas I built and they were faster than me and faster than their own cars. ??

The Toyotas got me an interview with AAR in the late ’80s for work on their Toyota program. Them totally was the days! ??
I wasn't really aware of the Grey Ghost. Just did a bit of google too. Awesome history. It said Herb Adams was the original creator of the Grey Ghost. I have a copy of Adams' book, Chassis Engineering on a shelf here at home. I suspect the basic concepts are not too much different from then to now but the materials technology, engineering analysis tools, and manufacturing tech have certainly moved on. That car has had some serious drivers. I recall Tullius from the Triumph and Jaguar #44 cars, when they weren't being raced as vintage cars .... I'm pretty sure I heard him speak as part of a panel at a SCCA Steel Cities Region hosted event in Pittsburgh a zillion years ago.

Building the Toyotas must have been fun. And, AAR, geez Steve, that's the big leagues!!

I need to get the stuff done on the MME I want to do and then get back to work on my '57 Morgan so I can drive it while I'm still allowed to drive !
