Does anyone know where I could find the secondary hidden VIN on the 2023 Mach-e?

There are identical VIN numbers on many of the parts that were brought together to make each car. Are you talking about a different VIN that doesn't match the one at the base of the windshield?

No talking about the VIN that matches the primary VIN, where ever that may be on other locations of the vehicle...

Ford vehicles since 1969 have the VIN in several locations both in plain sight and obviously well hidden. The Mach-E has paper vin tags on various parts that are not part of the unibody and those are used during the assembly process so that there is a continuity of parts assigned to a particular vin.
Prior to 1969 Ford stamped a partial VIN at the center rear of the trunk opening (under the weatherstripping) on US manufactured vehicles.
I'm not sure what has been done since the inception of technology in vehicles but I am guessing the vin is still stamped somewhere on the body, again to aid in the manufacturing process since the window tag is not placed until after painting is done.

Just my two cents,

Tony

At least in EU there is one in the passenger footwell, with opening in the carpet to access

Maybe the OP can expand on why he needs to reference the additional VIN locations?

In addition the software locations mentioned above, there are unpublished physical locations that you would not be able to access easily. Not sure why a typical person would need to consider finding those places though.

I know, right? When I read this I was thinking to myself, "Settle down, James Bond!"

Or a chop shop.

There's stickers every where

Look at the bottom of the door for example.

The manufactures placard also has it

The Trunk/Frunk lids have them..

Someone here painstakingly removed all those stickers so only the windshield one was left.

Back in the ‘70s the obvious places were the cowl tag, chassis (frame), door frame tag, partial VIN on the radiator support, the drive axle, transmission. When I was modifying my ‘71 street Celica I found a hidden one in the unibody sheetmetal. ?‍♂? These days, they tag the doors, hood, deck lid, and a bunch of other removable parts. ?‍♂?

I am guilty of this. Having the one in the windshield and the manufactures placard on the driver's B pillar is enough. Disliked looking at those white stickers on every door, under the frunk hood, liftgate, etc. That was the first thing I removed besides the Mach-E emblems on the doors.

Yes, just here………

“All” cars, most vehicles in fact, have stamped VINs on the body shell and/or separate chassis. Some are seemingly hidden so difficult to find but often dead easy once you know precisely where to look.

Note ALL is in inverted commas hence not meant to be a challenge to any forum trollsters?
