Set up PAAK

New app for Ford pass just installed. Trying to set up phone as a key (PAAK)
Says that it has limited stuff for doing set up for Android device. . PAAK instruction keep leading me around in a circle. I'm getting dizzy.
Any suggestions other than stop going around on circles?

Can you post some screenshots of what you are seeing? Did you previously have PaaK installed or is the first time you attempted to set it up?

partial/failed configuration of PAAK can be a real PIA.... basically you have to remove everything from both your phone and vehicle, and start over as if you just took delivery.

Set it up inside the car and have the master remote with you. Make sure your bluetooth is on and never turn it off if you use your PAAK continuously.

Can you clear the FordPass app data and try again? It looks like the application is crashing at the beginning of setup.

Same result. I wonder of has anything to do with how close I am to the car?
I'm inside and car is in garage about 40-50 feet away....

Ideally, you should be in the vehicle with the car turned on.

Oddly enough. It seems to work on the car anyway. Locks and unlocks, horn and lights do what they are supposed to do, and I think the car start stop work also. But I have yet to verify ad I have not gone out to the garage.
The app shows everything works properly.
Maybe the app thought it was wrong, but it was wrong....

Do you see commands like windows down / windows up? You can still operate some commands without PaaK. Commands like remote start, lock, unlock will work over cellular modem if PaaK is not configured. But window controls only execute over PaaK's bluetooth connection.

All the features you listed are non-PaaK. PaaK is windows up and down, frunk and trunk open, and using as a key.

I’ve been getting the same and the help desk at Ford is useless. I had to have the dealer check out something finds out it was a module that went back and has to be replaced (under warranty). They also reassured me the module will not affect drive or safety.
