Setting Charging Locations Broken

23-PU1024-MCP-FX last night. Same issue, no location, charge time or target for home. Tried ford charger vs my Grizzl-e, no luck. 12v Battery pulled, timer on for 10min.

Ok so it worked, but not exactly as expected.

I’ll type things up better when I’m on my laptop however, this is what went down.

My home charging location was missing, presumably after the update last night. Anytime I plugged in at home. The vehicle started to charge immediately as there was no charge time settings for my home location. It also charged 100% because there was no target charge saved.

after I did the 10 minute 12 V battery trick, there were still no locations. I plugged in the charger and after a few minutes, a new location appeared. When I went to name at home, Home was already taken and greyed out in the list. So I used location one for now. everything was able to be set up with a charge and time window, etc.

So far I’ve not been able to find or delete my original home location.

Got the same update yesterday. Was your home location missing from FordPass, or was it there and just not recognizing you are there?

The location was missing from the app and the car's charging screen. When you entered the Target Charge there was a message that an initial AC charge needs to be completed before you can add a location.

Tried the 12v disconnect for 10 minutes and then 40 minutes. Neither have worked. Still no charge location available though the charge events list my house correctly. At this point I throttled the charge station down to be at 90% by my departure time. Any other ideas are appreciated

Settings> General> Factory Reset --- this solved it for me

I escalated my case with Ford, but they have no idea. Resetting the head unit to factory settings fixed the problem.

Good to hear. I think if you are charging during an update, it logs your location as like "been there" so you can't add it anew, but then it also wipes out all your locations, making you unable to add it back. Ford wanted me to wait 5 weeks and then bring the car in for 5 days. Ain't nobody got time for that!
