Effectively immediately, service and recall programs for the Mach-E that involve powertrain software updates have been halted. This seems to be related to intermittent 1-Pedal drive faults encountered on a small population of vehicles after powertrain software updates were recently performed by dealers. Here is the list of programs stopped:
If your vehicle is scheduled for service on any of these programs, that service will need to be postponed until further notice.

This post will be updated once the hold is released.
I cannot make this up, I just got this e-mail directly from Ford... do different divisions even talk to each other at all??

I cannot make this up, I just got this e-mail directly from Ford... do different divisions even talk to each other at all??

If I had a guess that got all setup last week or sometime before it scheduled to go out today. Just someone did not think to pull that and put it on hold.
It is a perfect reason why you dont do things on a Monday. I know when I am doing app release or schedule things I fight hard against doing them on a Monday or a Friday. Monday because if they need to be halted not enough time and Mondays have a lot of things going on and Friday as people leave for the weekend and you have limited if any help until monday morning.

I got the exact same email and I just assumed it was because the dealership was putting my cars info in to get it jumped up in line.

Was interesting enough is that I have service scheduled tomorrow for the high voltage battery junction box to be repaired. I called my Ford dealer to confirm, and of course they heard nothing. I had to read him the little blurb from here. He said he would get back to me and let me know. @fordmotorcompany please help with the communication. So glad I’m on this forum and know about what’s going on more than the dealerships.

I was VERY surprised how quickly my dealer knew about it. Like 8 am on Saturday texting me.

I literally just got the email this morning that parts are available for my Mach E to perform the HVJB recall. Talk about timing!

Just got the call back from my dealer. That did not take long. The corporate email finally came down this morning to my dealership. My service writer was at least appreciative that I gave him a heads up. I guess we’ll see how long this takes to sort out now.

Dodged another bullet timing wise, looks like.

They didn't get around to yanking the battery on my car, just did the 40,000 mile checkup and will drop the car off at my house later today, with a plan to do the HVBJB replacement at a later date when it's deemed safe.

Meanwhile, I had the "charge door stuck" update done literally 20,000 miles ago, so probably just as well I never use 1 pedal driving, eh?

I got the same damn thing this morning. I'm about to drive a moving truck to Portland OR from Dallas and then flying back, working in-office for a week and then driving my MME up. '21 Job 1, original HVBJB. I would take it in and get the work done in the next 10 days if they could actually turn it around that quickly (heck I'd be willing to delay my second drive to Portland by a few days), but of course, all the work is stopped.

It feels like a sick joke at this point.

If my HVBJB doesn't hold out for the trip, I'm going to be so annoyed. At least my A2Z adapter should be here by then.

Interesting, as I just recieved an email today to schedule my HVBJB recall. Waiting for a call back to schedule with the dealer. We'll see what they say.

This is very funny because I just got an email this morning that I was free to schedule my 23S56 work. I called up the local dealer who has done all other work and they informed me of this stop service. Amazing work by Ford here.

I just received the same e-mail, even called the number and was told to schedule with my preffered dealer...and you know how that went! I was told to call back in a week or so to see if they can schedule

For the people getting the recall email……..

Maybe the problem will be resolved by the time you can schedule your recall appointment?

And no- I don’t think those departments talk to each other.

Further proof? I got that email too and I had the recall completed the first week of January.
