It always surprises me so much that people who live in areas where you could have summer tires don't. If your a Conti fan and you live in FL get the DW or the Michelin 4S those are pronominal. You give up so much dry and wet traction with the DWS so you can have light snow traction that you dont needThe easy answer on a Premium is to move to a wider tire on day 1. Go to a 245/50/RZ19 in the Continental DSW06Plus. It is the same rolling size. The compound gives good grip but does not lose range. There is a study posted here that shows very little range loss on this width. The big range loss comes in the rim change. The rim Ford is given us has very good aero characteristics.
