Software confusion/Fordpass

I've been lurking on the forum for well over a year, but this is my first post. Finally got my 2022 premium 4x machE October 1st after exactly a one year wait. Car is so far great coming from a Model Y I love it so much more. I'm currently still on 3.5.2 and do not understand how they send these OTA's, coming from a Tesla which would get them pretty much once a week. For the last 1200 miles everything has been working great I only use PAAK.
Just this past week the car won't remember my seat memory automatically when I get in it probably 50% of the time, I have to hit the memory button I programmed, also from the Fordpass app I can change charge settings/departure settings, but they will not transfer/update to the car. I've reset the APP, disconnected the PAAK and reconnected, removed the car and added the car back. Still nothing. Anybody have any fixes for this? My schedule changes every week, and it is a PITA to have to sit in the car and change all the settings weekly.

From the car have you gone into profile settings and assigned your phone to the specific profile. I had the same problem and that was the fix for the profiles.

Well, you are a bit lucky because at least the memory button is working for you. When my car loads the guest profile instead of my own, it locks me out of any changes via the door buttons or screen buttons. I just have to suffer with it.

One possible work around that was suggested is to create at least 3 different profiles (plus 1 guest of course...). That seems to help the system choose the correct profile for some reason. I already had 3 profiles set so I deleted one and then re-programmed it. So far that has helped with the profile thing. Sucks that we have to do crap like that but such is the way of life if you want to own one of these cars.

The FordPass thing is a mystery to me. It used to work really well for the last year or so but apparently they found a way to mess it up again. I can't change departure times from the app either. This must have been a very recent development. I was good over the weekend and hadn't messed with it until I saw your post. I gave it a try and sure enough, it's crapped out.

Sometimes FordPass issues resolve themselves after a few days. Fingers crossed.

Sometimes these setting get messed up with an update that is either happening or in the middle of it completing. if it does clear up in a day or 2 you can try resetting Sync.

I went to turn off automatic updates after reading this, and the car had already turned them off by itself. So just to test it I turned them back on drove to work, worked all day came back to drive home and it turned itself off again, so I guess I found another glitch.
