I just added this little 10 1/2 inch piece of screen retainer rubber on each

As a test - I put a large piece of electrical tape to cover that gap and smooth out the entire long are and while it might be a tad better under 70mph, I still hear the wind noise directly over my ear at 75mph.

I think the overhang piece over the door window is the major source of turbulence at high speeds.

From my untrained ear and no hard measurements, I think the source of the road noise is from the wheel well areas. My current Mach-E is noticeably louder than my former Ioniq 5 which was noticeably louder than the ultra-quiet BMW i4 (I actually owned all three for about 2 weeks before I sold the i4). All of the noise was from the underneath. With the MME you can "hear" the road underneath emanating from the footwell area but on the BWM i4 - the road noise is almost non-existent except for very rough patches.

Much appreciated. Does anybody have experience with putting tape along the top edge of the windshield? That’s a significant groove; I recall that earlier Teslas had quite a bit of turbulent noise at that location. (A friend with a model 3 reported my MME is much quieter on the road.)
People (myself included) have had good results putting a thicker rubber piece in that gap.

That said the windshield noise went away when they replaced my windshield and put it in more evenly.

The windshield noise seems to be a result of sloppy install from the factory. Things that only matter in a quiet car.

Yup, my i4 is quieter than our MME alright.

If your dealer isn't horrible, you can push them to do this TSB on your car for the windshield or just do something yourself.

I'd also go through the below thread where people post what products they've used on the side mirrors. You can do tape first to see if it is worthwhile, but it is such a simple fix.

I notice the date for the window tape is "-noise-built-on-or-before-15-feb-2021.10791/". Mine was built in August 2022. Perhaps the window placement and seal strip were revised by the time mine was built...?

You can still try and get it, not sure on 2022s. Mine is a Job 2 2021, built in November of 2021, well after this date, and my dealer still applied the TSB as it didn't have the additional strip.
