Speed Tolerance Missing

I do not have a tolerance slider for the Speed Sign Recognition in my settings. I've had this problem for a while, at least since 6.14 in March, maybe longer. It has been stuck at +2mph since I noticed it was gone. This was the setting I had left it at before the slider disappeared. I was hoping the option would reappear with an update. I received BC 1.3 on 7/11 and my tolerance has been reset to 0mph.

Now that I re-read the change log for the BC 1.3 I'm confused if the tolerance slider should still be there. Does anyone have any input?

FYI, I've done sync resets and cycled the car on-off several times since the 1.3 update.

I could be wrong, but isn't that setting an 'alarm' if you're speeding? Makes the speed limit sign on the instrument cluster display flash if you're going over the selected tolerance?

Currently I have Speed Limit Assist set to +4mph and it does not affect the Cruise Control when passing a Speed Limit Sign.

If you ever want to know, click the (I) next to each setting, it tells you what it does. The speed warning doesn’t have a tolerance, the tolerance is for the sign recogintion.

That's the (i) for Speed Limit Assist Tolerance. If you click the (i) for Speed Sign Recognition the screen looks like below. I may be going crazy, but they should be two different settings with two different tolerances... shouldn't they?

I don't think the tolerance slider showed up unless I had Speed Sign Recognition turned on. But for me it doesn't show up.

Instructions from the manual do not mention Speed Limit Assist, only Speed Sign Recognition. And says there should be a tolerance. I know there was a slider there at some point. Before 7/11 my car would set the cruise to the speed limit sign +2mph. Now it sets to the speed limit exactly. I can't be this crazy.

I realized this morning what I should have done is ask you if you get a Tolerance Slider when you turn on Speed Sign Recognition...

I do not know if they ever get updated. The version of the manual I have saved on my computer and the one currently posted on the ford website say the same thing in the footer:
"Edition date: 202109, First-Printing"

I lost mine as well, either with 6.13 or 6.14. I've emailed Ford about it several times now with no assistance. Pretty perturbed.

Did your Speed Sign Recognition Tolerance reset to +/-0mph? Now I have to deal with the car adjusting the speed at inappropriate times AND it is set too slow (for me).

That happened to me after the update. It came back after a reboot and re-enabled speed sign recognition.

Thanks for the suggestion! I wasn't sure if I had tried that combination of steps so I tried:

disable SSR -> reboot -> enable SSR
disable SSR -> switch to normal cruise -> reboot -> switch to adaptive cruise -> enable SSR

Sadly, neither worked for me.

Ford updates are so weird. You would think they get it right with all these beta testers.
