I finally have a production date from Ford! For those that have placed an order and are waiting for a production date, here is my experience so far. My order is for a Mach-E Premium, AWD, extended range battery in rapid red metallic.

Order placed online: June 18, 2021
Order number: 1101****
Dealer approves/submits order: June 19, 2021
Ford updates order to 2022 model year: October 01, 2021
Dealer contacts me to confirm 2022 order and place order: October 27, 2021
Ford notifies me that production has been scheduled: January 20, 2022
Production scheduled for week of March 28, 2022

Assuming a delivery in late April, that will be 10 months since I placed the order. When I placed the order, the Ford website said the wait was 24 weeks and the dealer said it was only 12-16 weeks!

I just got a build date of 3/14/2022. But keeping fingers crossed as dates are all over the board . Will not trust till it gets delivered. The pricing issues is another piece to figure out as price went up on order summary i have by 2200$ so thats another fight with dealer.

Hello All,

It seems Ford's ordering system and how they track orders from individuals or Dealerships are all over the map and very inconsistent. I feel for so many of you out there and perhaps my waiting period is not so bad after all but you never know.....

Received Email from Ford a week later....
Yesterday I received a build week of 2/14/22 which was confirmed from my Salesperson last week and also got a Vin #
