I ordered Prem AWD Ext 7-29-2021 from Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor. Changed colors on the 21-22 order update from Black to Iced Blue Silver. Estimated delivery is today but no call from the dealer. I'm still on the fence for accepting the order. I don't need it...I just reallllly want it.

Order submitted on 2/19. I added it to your site tool via the G-form just now.

One strange thing - the order number. The number I got from the dealer is a 4-digit number with a leading letter. That seems very different than the 8-digit all-numeric order ID's I see listed here. Anyone know what is going on there? I did get the email from Ford saying the order was confirmed, but that email does not contain any numbers or ID's in it. ???

Anyway, what I ordered:
2022 Premium AWD Extended Range
Rapid Red exterior, black interior
From Bredemann Ford in Glenview, IL

ETA: Also the dealer is charging no ADM, and didn't even take a deposit. I asked, they said no need for a deposit, I assume because they know that car will sell quick if it arrives in any case.

4 digits in the order means your dealer order for you, instead of you ordering and paying the deposit directly on ford's website (those have 8 digits). Other than that, no difference. You will receive emails from Ford (the few and unhelpful ones anyways).
My email also didn't have any order number. Normal Ford bs. I actually used the chat on Ford's website, but this can't be fixed, two completely distinct ordering systems.

No tracking online, correct. All through the dealer. But what I got from others is that there isn't much to track. You will get emails once a month saying "hello, we haven't forgotten about you" or in any change of status just the same.
