I just got an email from Ford corporate saying that my MME has been scheduled for production the week of Dec 21st!!! My order is a premium ER AWD, and I made my reservation a couple of days after the reveal last year.

Dealer called today and said my build date is scheduled for week of 12/7/2020 or 12/14/2020. He said hopefully delivery in December especially if week of 12/7. I forgot to ask him for VIN but my salesman will be back Monday and hopefully he'll answer that too.

I'm glad to see my Mach E scheduled but disappointed the email from Ford a few minutes ago said:
"We are excited to let you know your 2021 Mustang Mach-E First Editionhas been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of December 14 2020."

Once we see more we'll understand better what this means for production. However, mine is a First Edition. A preliminary look says they are interleaving First Editions with other models to a significant extent or production is slated to be really slow.

Order number is 10005541. Please update me in the tracking sheet.

Interesting they have my First Edition so far out despite a first night reservation.

My dealer just called and told me my production week is either 12/7/2020 or 12/14/2020!! Sure am glad you were wrong about your prediction of April to June 2021!!

I just got an email from Ford corporate today saying that my MME has been scheduled for production the week of Dec 21st . My order is a premium Rapid Red ER AWD, reservation # 19190, Reservation date 11/21/2019 and order date 7/1/2020. Not sure if this falls in line with everyone but I am happy with it.

So December build dates for FE's?!? That would suck. 2020 delivery looks less and less likely if these reports represent real build dates rather than just temporary placeholders until they have something more accurate.

Last word we had from trutolife27 was they still planned to get the FEs build in the first 3 weeks of MP2. Which should be the last week of Oct and the first 2 weeks of Nov.

Ugh.

Seems like there are more than a few of us, umm, older folks who are getting themselves a Mustang - glad Ford had the guts to use the Mustang badge - I think it is a great call and the Mach-E will live up to the name. I'll have to start wearing this T-shirt until I get my Mach-E one...
