How much padding does Ford put into their build schedules?
They have some algorithms that they use. I'm just wondering what the +/- is on a build date that 30, 60, 90 days out. Obviously, the + could be huge, but there is also that possibility that assembly goes quicker with fewer line stoppages than calculated for in the scheduling.

That's what I'm guessing. Maybe early Feb, or even very late Jan if we get lucky and match up with the timing of a delivery just right. There's probably some cars that will just barely make or barely miss particular trains/trucks, with the next one a week later or something. I can only imagine how complex shipping thousands of cars to hundreds of cities/towns across the US and Canada must be.

How long they'll sit at the plant queuing up for delivery is a big question mark too. Might only take 2 weeks to get from Cuautitlan to Denver or Seattle or Cleveland, but maybe it'll be the 1500th car sitting on the plant lot for 2 weeks waiting for transport?

Don't really know, just speculating.

Is this order being delivered in the Netherlands? That doesn't seem that bad actually. That's a long boat ride from Mexico, so 2x the time for US deliveries seems practical.

correct. Boat trip of 23 days between Veracruz and Antwerp, Belgium.

How / where are we supposed to add information to the spreadsheet or is it all done now?

Did anyone get different days on the website (Sunday the 17th Jan) vs the received email (Monday the 18th Jan)?

I think I missed where the VIN # should be viewed when it is supplied.

Would it be in an email or on the Ford reservation site somewhere? Just curious since some people with my build week already have a VIN #.
