So I reached out to Suma's customer support and they confirmed that my order is at the warehouse and that it is being prepared for shipment. They also provided me with a tracking # that will activate once the carrier picks the order up from the warehouse.

The good news:
The mailman dropped off my mirrors this morning and the install was pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, SUMA didn't provide any install instructions but there are plenty of YouTube videos that demonstrate how to swap out Ford mirrors. Install took me about 15 minutes because I was trying to not break the glass or any clips. Still managed to break two clips on the original mirrors on the passenger side.

The bad news:
The mirrors don't work. The Mach-E just throws BLIS and rear cross traffic disabled errors on the main screen once the car is shifted into drive or reverse.

If you're going to try them on your MME then I'd recommend NOT snapping them into place until you've verified that they work.

Steps:

1. Plug in the BLIS connectors
2. Plug in the heated mirror connectors
3. Let the mirror free hang
4. Blind spot indicator should illuminate for a full second
5. If blind spot indicator does not fully illuminate for a full second then don't snap the mirrors into place because you'll just be wasting your time.

If blind spot indicator does not illuminate then you will probably get a BLIS / rear traffic alert error once you try to shift into reverse or drive.

This is very disappointing. Fortunately, my factory mirrors appear to have snapped right back in without issue...even with two broken clips.

Will be reaching out to SUMA support for next steps. I'm rooting for @Suma Performance to get this resolved because I'd really like to have the extra blind spot visibility.

If I did something wrong then someone please let me know... these should be plug-and-play, right? I shouldn't have to clear any codes, correct?

Thank you for going through this for the rest of us. I may hold off on the installation until you have a resolution. Sorry you broke some clips. Hopefully thst mirror stays on.

EG, Damn. Shocking that months after I reported this issue to Suma their product is still exhibiting the same problem with identical symptoms. I am beyond disappointed with Suma. I'm so very sorry that you went through this - even more so that a couple clips on your OEM mirrors broke in the process too.

Come on @Suma Performance, get your act together!

Plugged mine in and they don’t work either. Suma I want my money back. This is just dumb at this point.
I don't think I will even take mine out of the box now. What a waste.

What's the point of these mirrors? If you adjust your mirrors properly, you won't have blind spots.

lol I'm willing to bet that most of us car enthusiasts know how to properly set our mirrors.

Why buy them? Because they enhance the driving experience when performance driving or driving in a spirited manner. I've had wide angle mirrors on sports cars that I've owned and they're a game changer.
