Tesla adapter where do you store it?

I had it in the back with the mobile charger but that's not convenient if you have anything in the back or actually need to get it out.

Yeah, same thing with my TeslaTap... I used to store it in the back under the cargo mat, but the only time I use it is on a road trip. And we don't always take the big suitcases into the hotel every stop (we use a small tote for the 1-night stays). I quickly realized storing it there was a bad idea because I had to lug the suitcases out to get to it. Be even worse with the NACS adapter because we use it along the drive and the suitcases would always be there.

I am just curious where everyone is keeping their adapters? I keep mine in the box usually in the back seat floor. But too big for the glove box and awkward for the frunk.

Suggests or comments?

Fill your frunk with tons of other stuff and the adapter will feel right at home. Well, at least mine does!

At least for now I have the adapter in the glove box. One advantage of not having the thick owner’s manuals Is that my glove box is relatively empty!

Actually I'm talking about using the Ford adapter with my Porsche Taycan. Right now the Taycan only works with the Magic Dock Supercharger's and they are in Northern CA... nowhere near me and nothing in Nevada.

I try to keep up with the car forums I read but that's hard to do... this forum included... so if someone has had recent success I haven't read about it yet.

Nobody can charge a Taycan at any Supercharger that isn't a Magic Dock. If you pull up to a Magic Dock, and use your own adapter, it will work fine.

Why would you use your own adapter at a Magic Dock charger? It would already have the CCS adapter.

He wanted to know where he could charge his Taycan, and if the adapter would work on the Taycan. The adapter doesn't care what vehicle he is charging, only the charger does. If he wants to prove he can use a non-vehicle-specific adapter to charge a Taycan, he can validate that at a Magic Dock location.

Ford currently stores my adapter for me. I don't have to take up any space in the car. They will send it to me later this year (maybe).

Why would you use your own adapter at a Magic Dock charger? It would already have the CCS adapter.

A normal owner wouldn't. They would use the one built into the Magic Dock Supercharger.

Of course, around here we have some abnormal owners. They might try it to see if the NACS adapter works on a Magic Dock Supercharger. If the nearest one weren't so far away I might try it just to see.
