Tesla Adapter

Just received the Tesla Adapter, downloaded the Tesla app. Couple of questions, some Tesla chargers show 150kw and 250kw, does it matter which one to use as long as its a Supercharger? In Maps, for a trip, it doesn't show Tesla superchargers as an option. What setting do I put in to see these?

Yes it matters. You can only use some V3/V4 Superchargers. When I plan trips with Apple Maps I have to manually add the locations that I found from the Tesla site.

This ensures the site is compatable, use these filters.

In the Tesla app you can add this filter under My Vehicles.

V2 Superchargers are only 150 kW and they use a different protocol, so we will never be able to use them. Most, but not all V3's and V4's (250+ kW) are open to us, but Tesla has kept some as Tesla-only, primarily, it seems, in pretty crowded areas where there is heavy usage.

Put your car info in the app and then only compatible chargers show...
