Ford is up to order approximately # 35,000I ordered mine the beginning of March 2024. The order tracking said October 2024 Then November, now it says December. Still no adapter.
My replacement arrived this morning. It was a complete surprise. Even though I received an adaptor in June I never received any notification from Ford that mine was defective.I received mine about 3 weeks ago. They were only replacing the June batch.
In addition to what @ChasingCoral said, keep in mind that Ford is currently entirely dependent upon Tesla for the NACS adapters. That should alleviate a but once Lectron begins delivering their adapters to Ford.I ordered mine the beginning of March 2024. The order tracking said October 2024 Then November, now it says December. All this over a free adapter that you can buy for $200. I wonder how you react to real problems.....I told them months ago I sold my house and bought a new one with the updated address (out of state move 1,000+ miles away).
They even sent me an email confirmation of the order address change.
Well, the adapter shipped last week, finally, and it was destined for the old address.
I called Ford orders and explained the mistake and they said there was nothing they will do, the wrong person will receive the FedEx delivery and they refused to contact FedEx to have it re-routed to the correct address (they were engaged ss soon as I got the tracking number).
They also refused to make another adapter available.
This is my last Ford or Lincoln because of this lazy, lackluster CS. It's a shame because I might have bought a loaded Aviator or a Lightning when the work bonus hits in Feb. Looks like it will be a MX, Lyriq, Polestar 3, or something similar that wont be a Ford.
Probably by logging into a forum account they havenāt used in over a year for the sole purpose of announcing to everyone how they wonāt every buy a product because they didnāt get something for free. All this over a free adapter that you can buy for $200. I wonder how you react to real problems.....
The standard is to ship to the correct address.Probably by logging into a forum account they havenāt used in over a year for the sole purpose of announcing to everyone how they wonāt every buy a product because they didnāt get something for free.
Humans are strange. You post a problem you had and people who have absolutely nothing to gain or lose by your posting criticize you. I found the post interesting (even though it has nothing to do with my health, my finances or my self righteousness ? ).The standard is to ship to the correct address.
If not, then to acknowledge you have had the correct address and to contact FedEx while it's enroute to get it to the proper destination.
I was pretty polite on the phone with CS and they just refused to do anything.
My expectations aren't too high, and there are too many other great competitors with products at the moment.
Definitely enjoy driving my wife's MachE though and appreciate the tech, since I do tech for work as well.
I have ordered mine, but I still have not received it. And this kind of sucks right now because in smaller towns, I canāt even find a place to charge my Mach-e, so I have to drive something else each time. What' the story with Ford's proposed adapter so Mach-E's can be charged on Tesla chargers? Has Ford made these adapters available yet?
They're still working on March 1, 2024 orders. Just hit 37,XXX in the last day. March 1st was the 2nd day or ordering, so you can guess when yours might come based on that info.I have ordered mine, but I still have not received it. A2ZEV makes the Typhoon Pro adapter for Tesla SuperChargers. It sells for $185.00 ($175.75 with code FORDFORUM). They also sell the Stellar adapter, which is for Tesla Destination chargers (such as hotels, private homes). It sells for $108 ($102.60 with code FORDFORUM) . They are currently shipping quickly. I have both adapters and have used both many times. They work great. https://a2zevshop.com/products/nacs-ccs1?ref=Typhoon&variant=43186507579592
