how Long do you think that will take? They will take charging plugs away from Tesla owners and change them to rivals cars. If That’s what he said I guess so, but doesn’t make sense. I’ve seen rows of super chargers full at times. If I were a Tesla owner and go to a Tesla super charger to find out half of them have been converted to another type of lug wouldn’t be too happy.Tesla will equip their chargers with any adapters / modifications needed.
maybe their units can be converted to add another plug and keep the existing Tesla plug but that seems like an awful lot of work.
time will tell. I still think a converter plug type would just be easier if it’s doable at all. Plus think of all of the people that have existing Tesla home chargers, still get some value from a Tesla tap.
