Honestly it went exactly like I expected.

You can try lining the inside of the box with aluminum foil to increase the radar cross section. Or build a corner reflector with foil covered cardboard and put it inside.

Definitely be something to try. I just need to focus on keeping my risk and cost down since this channel does not make any money, and I don't want to risk damage to my Mach E

Thanks for posting. I've been curious to do the same thing with the cardboard box.

I've had my car brake for me twice now, both times when going super slow behind a car in a parking lot. While I highly doubt it, I wonder if the sensitivity can be triggered via GPS AKA it doesn't work on highways but in parking lots it does??? Again I doubt that is the case, but might be a cool approach.

Beyond the two times in a parking lot it's done it, I've had multiple times when exiting a freeway or coming up on someone at a stop sign where (I use 1PD) I'm not going to stop in time without applying the brakes manually, and it flashes up a warning for collision avoidance (beeping noise and flashing on screen). I simply applied the brakes myself and stopped with enough distance.

Oh I didn't think about it being tied to GPS. I don't think it is, but this is something I can test in part 3.

No, there's no GPS input, no need to test that.

The radar can glitch at extremely close distances while following another car only a couple feet ahead. This can set off collision alert or emergency braking falsely in some cases.

Did I miss something in the videos???

I was waiting for the automatic emergency implosion of the car but never saw it.

Very disappointed...
