Anyone know if there is a setting to lock the vehicle when it is put in drive or reverse immediately after starting the car? I think the locks will automatically activate when you reach a certain speed. But I need the locks to activate right away (long story). And yes, I know I can manually lock the vehicle myself.

There is no such setting, no. As you said, you know you can "open door, get in, close door, hit lock button".

Also note that you can set the car to only unlock the driver's door, or all 4 doors.

When you say there is no such setting, are you talking about the in car settings or Forscan or both?

FORScan doesn't create settings, it allows you to update existing settings. Since Ford vehicles have to hit a specific speed limit to lock the doors, there is no "switch" that you can turn on that says to lock them when you shift to D or R.

I can’t even get mine to lock and chirp when I walk away

Who said it created settings? Again, are you saying there in no setting in Forscan that allows you to change the locking behavior? I have a feeling you have no idea. I'd just like a simple response, not your usual condesending diatribe.

I'd go look at the specific settings, but not with that response. Bye.
