Not sure if everyone is aware of this. I’ve also posted this in Mach E Facebook groups and a lot of people there had no idea. We can text Ford if you have questions about your Mach E. I received this number in one of the many emails after I got my 24 and now have it saved in my phone. The ford agent in text told me “we can discuss anything really. Features and functions of the vehicle, home and public charging, simple troubleshooting of the app or in vehicle technology, vehicle health, etc”.
As an example Ive used it periodically to get my 12v battery SOC and voltage which they pull from your VIN. Text it if you have a random question it could be helpful to some. 734-892-0892.

Eh, I’ve texted it a few times, at least to me it doesn’t seem like it. The interactions can be different even if you ask the same question each time you reach out.
careful! That’s what Kevin Roose thought.

Hmmm ? what are the chances that it is not AI?
They contacted me out of the blue. I explained my issue with my steering wheel. Took a bit for the agent to look stuff up and get back to me. The back and forth over my issue seemed like it was with a human who was looking things up. ?‍♂?

Hmmm. I didn’t seem to get that. Can you rephrase that
it seems the ideal circumstance to employ AI, ?, thus feels most likely. Almost strange if they did not do so.

A complete waste of time, IMHO…

I’ve contacted them a total of 4 times so far, and have not received any substantially helpful information to date. In most cases the agent on the other end simply read (via text, of course) to me from the Owner’s Manual….

not only were the responses not helpful, I am completely literate and able to read myself….

The 4th time the chat agent seemed to disappear for almost 20 minutes and became unresponsive…all of a sudden she returned, as if nothing happened. When I inquired as to what happened, mid-conversation, she literally told me she took a break to go get a coffee and take a walk…..literally….???‍♂

YMMV? ??‍♂

Must be using google AI. OpenAI would tell you it was none of your business.

These are my two experiences.
#1. I injured my hand and could only use one hand to drive. As such, Lane keep Assist was very helpful. The downside was the keep both hands on the wheel warning increased dramatically. I texted them asking if there was a way to adjust the sensitivity. There answer was no, but suggested I turn off lane keep assist. This was after explaining that LKA helped me drive with one hand.
#2.
My 2022 Lightning bricked on me so I called Ford Roadside Assistance for a tow. After waiting for 4 hour's I called a local tow company and they showed up within 20 minutes. I paid $125.00 for the tow. A few days later I got a cold text from these geniuses so I explained my poor experience with Ford Roadside Assistance and told them I wanted to be reimbursed for the $125.00. They said that they would check on what could be done. I told them that anything less than a check in the mail was unacceptable. A few days later I get a text stating that they deposited 30,000 points in my Rewards Points account. I texted back that Rewards Points is not the same as the cash I paid out of my pocket.
Does anyone know of a grocery store that takes Ford Rewards Points?
