Regarding power supply, does anyone know if something like this would work?

12V won't keep your LVB from discharging during updates, needs to be close the 13.6V. I use this (used like new) with this. Looks like the description of power supply is messed up. This is a 50A 12V to 15V adjustable power supply. I set it to 13.7 to 13.8V and verify with a multimeter.

Agreed. I got this with similar cables and it's worked fine.

It seems to be a HUGE difference in license cost between EU (at least Sweden) and US. Can I register a US account to work on a EU car? Or am I looking in the wrong place? Seems to be same prices when I go to pay for the license ?

There was somebody on here from the EU or UK that was talking about getting a day license and as long as the program was kept running on the laptop it would work into the next day as well. Obviously, since I'm here in the US I know our licenses don't work that way. This was an unintended glitch apparently with the European server I imagine, I don't know if that got 'patched' or not.

Try the one 1 hour license... it will last two days, from the moment you activate FDRS to the end of the day after.
There's no need to keep FDRS open or the laptop on the whole time, FDRS will connect every time till the license expire.
Remember to avoid the purchase on sundays because sometimes Ford servers fails on those days.

The only thing that last 1 hour is the access to PTS via the link on the web page of the FDRS purchase.

My suggestion is to buy early in the morning to gain the maximum time and initially have a look to PTS to see what's been done to your car in the past.

Thank you to all who gave input and advice in this thread. I have been dealing with cruise control and blue cruise being out due to an error in the IPMA. I was able to fix the issue and now everything is working again.

I do have two errors still present. The APIM and TCU have error U3000:57. Luckily it isn’t causing any current issues that I can tell. Any ideas on what to do?

DTCs that start with "U" are network errors, could be a momentary interruption.

Just finished off my first session with FDRS! Everything went fine.

Managed to run initial configuration of TRM which the workshop seems to have forgotten. Let’s see if this improves the 12v drain problem I have been having.

There is one DTC that won’t clear - Will try to recalibrate using a guide I found online.

These are my available updates. Finished off the Door Control Modules. Can I do all the rest? Any particular order?

Bonus question - When the interior ceiling light is in the normal position (white on all buttons) it never shuts off, even after locking the car. I have to press the button on it so the button goes orange (always off) for it to not be always on. Any idea if an update can solve this?
