But... one has been asked many times, but has never had a single answer, despite being the seventh most common question asked (**), over and over again (***):

• Can I bring a rolled 12 ft. by 10 ft. 6 in. carpet remnant home in a Mach-E?

Despite the vast majority of Mach-E owners (****) asking this critical question, there's been no answer.

UNTIL NOW.
The answer, my friends and enemies, is yes, as long as you use the tie downs appropriately and don't care about imposing on the passenger that made you buy the damn thing in the first place:

the trap speed was 0 as in "the rug was firmly trapped in the vehicle through proper attachment to the tie-downs and thus had a maximum speed of 0 relative to the vehicle the entire trip".

depends. I don't know what the EPA says the carpet remnant carrying capacity of the Model Y is, nor what the actual capacity is (where you'd have to take off about 10%-15%). ?‍
