Thought the disassembled pictures before were bad enough. I thought wrong.

edit: I was t-boned in November and the frame was dented. They have to take out the battery to weld, which is why the car looks like this.

I hope the instructions in the last picture aren’t written by IKEA. ;)

This is looking like a high labor cost.

Are they going to try to cut out the B pillar and replace it?

Yeah but I believe just part of it. If you zoom in a little, you can see some yellow on that pillar and I’m pretty sure that’s where they’re cutting out.

They have to remove the battery to weld since it’s within 14 inches of it. But I guess the way Ford builds the cars, something with the roof overlapping it and so they had to take off that too. I didn’t get into too much detail with the guy, but that’s all I know.

Can you elaborate on why this disassembly is taking place? Sorry, but i'm missing the context.
No worries. I probably should have put this in the post at first. I was t-boned in November and the frame was dented, so they have to weld on new pieces and what not. So when they weld within 14 inches of the battery, they need to remove it, which is why the car looks like this right now.

What speed were you T-boned at?

Wishing you success in the rebuild process.
Thank you very much. Well it was in a parking lot… I would have to say about 10-15 mph. It was a Ranger pickup.
