I have a lot of local driving (including regen of course) and L1 would not work fine for me.
Tomorrow will be 10 months with the car. 25,500 miles so far....
That is a lot of miles for 10 months. Do you still think it was a good purchase?

Electrify America charges very fast , and that’s what we try to find while on trips. a quick burger and you are on your way again. We wouldn’t want to do that daily because all fast charging batteries including Tesla charges add wear to the battery. We mostly charge at home on our 14-50 line added to our clothes dryer 220 outlet. No problems and it takes about 7 hours to charge to 90% from about half charge. less stressful to the battery, and not a problem. I don’t think it’s much different than a Tesla..

I only drove a Tesla twice and preferred the Mache, smoother, quieter and I had trouble reading the Tesla screen which I felt was dangerous. I prefer the Mache driver console screen and am happy with the added conveniences mache provide. (I am older and prefer no surprises?)

You need to drive both. I can’t imagine a car being more responsive and fast than the Mache. It’s so fun and comfortable (at least in my GTPE).
good luck!

Absolutely. The 360 camera view is amazing. Adaptive cruise and lane centering is very nice. I love then "L" button on the selector dial. The native nav is excellent. Best navigation system that I have ever used (and I have more than a million miles using nav so I have some experience). Built quality is very nice. Cabin is very quiet and the driving experience is fun and playful.

Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto is really nice. Not because I use it.....but for my wife and kids. It is pretty nice being able to broadcast any of my passenger's phone to the main screen on demand. Sometimes my wife will suggest a new restaurant and pull it up on her phone and then I touch the screen and grab her navigation feed. Or perhaps my son is in the car and mentions a new song he likes and we play it in the car and rock out a bit. Stuff like that is super handy.

Tons of room in the car. The back seats are a fantastic place to be. Sometimes I am envious of riders back there.

Really a great car.

There are things that can be improved though. The ride is a bit firm but I am used to driving a HD pickup so it doesn't bother me. There is a thing with battery cooling while parked on plug that I am very disappointed about.

Phone as a Key isn't very good at all.
Over the air updates are sloppy.
DC Fast Charging experiences can vary wildly. Fortunately, neither of those things matter to me so I am happy with the vehicle. ::)

Yes, here in CA we have a lot of chargers. I can't even find a model to test drive, the dealers want me to just order one but I have to test drive it before I buy one.
Welcome to the forum. I'm in Roseville. I bought off the lot from Dixon Ford. Great, quick, no bs, and no ADM. Test drove a Select from Roseville then bought online from Dixon. Recommend them over most dealers in Sac especially Roseville. Any relation to John P (electrician)?

That's great, what's the main difference with your CA RT1 and the premium? Is it mainly the seats are not heated from what I saw.
For '21 no AWD option, no heated seats and no heated steering wheel, no upgraded headlamps... yet for '22 I believe it all changes as you can opt for AWD, heated seats etc. I just loved the black pano roof the black wheel covers and the look of the CA RT 1 for extended range it is 305.

Glad they gave you a no issue sale.

Yep. I averaged 24k miles per year with my Focus Electric. The Mach-E allows me to be where I need to be with less planning so it looks like my first full year with the car will be about 30k miles. Almost all of it in the greater Phoenix area.

Doesn't seem right as their lot Premium is $5K add-on... maybe the poster can identify how the Dixon Ford gave them that cost. I do know that Ford Store Morgan Hill is a no-ADM shop. Too far for me but I used to buy 4 other cars there. Always offered at $400 over invoice. Since the MME is at same invoice/msrp -- they offer msrp.

Yes I thought 5k add-on was a lot. I will check Ford Store Morgan Hill, it would be a long drive for me but might be worth 5k. I'd have to charge it on the way home i'm sure.

On 11/29 -- the sales guy James wrote me this as he thought I was ordering through his store (3 hrs away) and not through my closer dealer (45 min away). They were my backup plan and with volume they do get good flow of new vehicles for allocations. I will probably get my Maverick through them in late Spring.

"
I don't see your order with our dealer. Was your order with another dealer? If you did order from another dealer i can not guarantee you wont get charged a added dealer mark-up. Other dealers don't charge sticker price like we do.
