CU usually have a much lower rate.

I used Schools First as they approved online.

The other CU that has lower rates was EECU but they took 3 days and too late..

Just refi.

Refinancing a car isn’t like refinancing a house. No closing Costs and quick and easy.

Sometimes the dealers stick you with a crap rate and a lie that “you have to keep it for X months.”

They just say that because they don’t get paid on the loan if you refi too soon.

I will definitely let you guys know what the outcome is. Will be going in a couple of hours and i am for sure not going to get those extras. I am planning to finance with a hefty down to lower my monthly cost

Put down a small down payment. Use the saved cash to pay the higher monthly payments. Don’t get charged for window etch. It’s done at the factory for production purposes. Some dealers have $199 or more pre-printed on their retail invoice.

Also. you don’t want a dealer sticker put on the car. Plate border may be acceptable.

That's great news.

For future reference, I emailed the GM on the details of the cars cost etc. around 2 weeks before my cars arrival. While that is no contract per se, it is documentation that one could use for leverage if it came to that if the person you are emailing responds in agreement. I was lucky that everything went great on my end as well but memorializing it via email is much better than speaking on the phone etc.. I had all of i's and t's crossed well before I went in for pickup and everyone knew where they stood.

Yes, that's the whole point of doing Ford Options instead of a traditional lease: the ability to claim the $7500 federal tax credit. You might qualify for the Clean Vehicle Rebate Program if you make under a certain amount. CVRP is separate from the Clean Fuel Vehicle Rebate, which must be applied for at the time of purchase. CVRP can be done within 90 days of the purchase of the car.
