Good idea/bad idea/Unnecessary?

Generally people tint windows to make them darker/more heat rejection, but thats just a shot in the darkWhy? What is your goal in doing so?
Not unless you buy one aftermarket.Newb question: does the MME glass overhead have a sliding cover or cloth barrier between my head and glass ??
They’re really not necessary. The sun roof is infrared resistant and fairly dark. Ask the Arizona. MME owners about life with a sunroof. I haven’t had a bit of trouble here in the tropics with the sunroof.Newb question: does the MME glass overhead have a sliding cover or cloth barrier between my head and glass ??
WIll do - I will start looking for one - really hated the glass over my head in hot sunny So Cal.Not unless you buy one aftermarket.
You might want to wait until you have the MME to see if it's a problem before spending money on one.WIll do - I will start looking for one - really hated the glass over my head in hot sunny So Cal.

No problems here in South Florida either. I had already shopped for (but thankfully didn't purchase) an aftermarket shade before the car had even arrived. They’re really not necessary. I thought I needed one too, but found that I resoundingly do not. I have had a number of cars with a smaller sunroof that would allow more heat to pass through, even with the shade closed. For the record, I'm not a fan of sunroofs either, but so far, this is the most pain-free one I've experienced.WIll do - I will start looking for one - really hated the glass over my head in hot sunny So Cal.
Thanks will test it out - should arrive early 2023....No problems here in South Florida either. I had already shopped for (but thankfully didn't purchase) an aftermarket shade before the car had even arrived.

As a Sunny So Cal owner for 1+ years, the pano is never hot in the cabin. it *is* hot if you actually touch it. Hold your hand as close as an inch and you won't feel the heat.WIll do - I will start looking for one - really hated the glass over my head in hot sunny So Cal.
