I have had my Premium since Oct 2022 and I used the fix-a-flat for the first time this morning. How do we recharge the machine? Do we now have to carry a can of fix-a-flat now?

That is always an option and probably the most cost effective. Just need to verify that the inflator will still work.

There have been discussions that the Slime cannister referenced above will not fit the OEM Kit.

You can buy the retail version of the inflator kit (analog or digital guage) for less than the cannister alone from Ford, and the replacement cannister above will fit that, fyi.

This is a great option. I hope to not use either the OEM kit or have to buy the Slime. However, if I do use the OEM, now I have an option to get something for far less than Ford probably wants. A note of caution, read the use on Slime. Per their website: "For emergency use only! Slime's Emergency Tire Sealant is designed as a temporary formula in passenger vehicles and must be removed within 3 days or 100 miles " I can't confirm but I image Ford's sealant is the same. This is not a put it in and forget it solution.

Most 'slime'/sealant is for emergency use to get you to a place to get your tire fixed.

And be sure you let them know you slimed your tire!
