I don't use tire shine very much, but if I'm in the mood I'll put some Chemical Guys VRP on my tires.

I work it in well and let it sit, it's basically like a lotion. Doesn't sling around, but also doesn't necessarily last a long time.

Adams VRT is pretty good and one of the better ones that doesn't sling. I've tried all sorts of tire shines in the past and they always ended up all over my doors after one drive. I'm sure the chemical guys one is similar.

I use this this. Lasts about a week. No issues with slinging. It does, however, stain asphalt/concrete if you get some on it. I don't apply it at home for that reason. Usually do it at work on one of my breaks.

Detailer, and one product has killed and antiquated all others. Started using in March and haven't looked back.

Meguiar's Waterless wheel and Tire. First product that works on both the tire and wheel.

Tire shines like none other, and with a dry microfiber it does an amazing job on removing wheel / brake dust fall out. No greasy feeling on the rim once dried. It's unmatched.

Stuff like hot shine tire coating is nice, but it slings, and if you get any on the rim, it gets greasy.

I've bought 12 bottles of this stuff as Meguiar's has the bad habit of killing off any good product that outdoes their others.

Wash Plus comes to mind, look at reviews. They claimed it was too hard to produce. Truth was you didn't need a polish 99% of the time because Wash+ took care of it.

Spray waterless wash plus all over the sides of the tire and a few squirts on the wheel directly. Even it out with a contoured tire foam pad, then use a dry microfiber to remove brake dust and fallout from the wheel. 3 minutes to a brilliant looking tire and wheel and no grease on the wheel itself.

Below was from a detail yesterday

Before Ultimate Waterless Wheel & Tire by Meguiars, CG Tire Kicker actually was an awesome dressing that didn't sling.

I just get a half gallon of Tire Kicker and keep labeled squirt bottles in the frunk. Works on interior as well as exterior, dry to the touch with UV blockers. No cheap 'Armor All-esque' shine.

Love VRP, but Tire Kicker has better longevity for tires, outdone though by Ultimate Waterless by Meguiars.

I use VRP all day long on trim, it does amazingly and has a bit more shine for trim.
