This may be a silly question but I’m debating it and want others thoughts. I just leased a 24 Mach E. Typically if I finance a vehicle I would get PPF to help with rock chips considering I live in the desert and the freeways are rough out here.
However, would you do PPF on a lease? Not sure I want to spend the money considering I probably won’t end up buying it at the end of the lease and while I tend to be a bit OCD about things like rock chips they are inevitable and aren’t going to fall outside of “normal wear and tear”.
What would you do?

I can’t say if it was or wasn’t worth it, but I had my hood and front end PPF’d On my leased 2024 MME GT just recently. Then again, this is my first lease ever and I am planning on buying it at the end of the lease. ?‍♂?

If it will bring you more joy to have it on there do it. I personally wouldn't do ppf on a lease I planned to return, but would do tint in a heartbeat. A few hundred bucks would be easy to justify, even if it's just a long term rental, for a few years of driving enjoyment.

How much will it cost? Do you see it benefiting you, or making you're limited time with the car better?

I got PPF on the front of my 22 GT which I intended on purchasing at the end of the options plan finance. I think it is very worth it if you do plan on buying and owning the car long term. The paint does seem to chip easily and PPF gave me piece of mind. However if you lease and don’t plan on purchasing then it’s probably not worth the cost.

On a lease? Never. On a purchase? Always. But I’m also one of these weird people who don’t hard wash rental cars ??‍♂.

I have the same story as Steve above. Leased my '24 GT and had the hood and front bumper PPF'd. I plan on purchasing at the end of the lease but I said the same thing about my '21 and I traded it in for this one. I just like the fact that I don't have to worry about all the little rock chips that pepper the bumper and front of the hood. I will have at least 3 years of a brand new looking front end which to me is worth it.

I got it on my leased Lincoln Corsair. I did it strictly because I have seen the results of not getting it and hated looking at my chipped hoods (made the mistake of not getting it on 2 vehicles). In the end, it's your money, if you have it and don't mind spending it, it's definitely worth it.
