TWO CarPlay Tiles?

Yes, I have in my December delivered GTPE. I figured the one is more for the phone but I am not sure I have ever pushed it.

I'm only seeing 1?

The first tile is actual carplay.
The 2nd tile, is the Phone app, but its saying carplay is currently active. The phone app doesn't really do anything when carplay or android auto is active.

Yep it’s just to let you know Phone app won’t do anything since you e got CarPlay connected

Mine never did this until I got the 21P22 software update, prior to that the Bluetooth phone tile would indicate not available, but it did have the two tiles.

This is the first time I’ve seen both tiles together. I’ve had 21P22 for some time (my dealer installed it, or else I would be in OTA purgatory on that as well.)

those tiles are ordered by most recent use.... it means you used phone app then carplay without other apps in between.

Just recently changed for me as well. Right after 21P22, maybe coincidence.

I’ve never used the phone app, CarPlay only. Yet the second tile now appears.

I understand the ordering. What I’m saying is that, when (stupid) CarPlay is running, I’ve never seen the native phone app tile and my phone calls always go through (stupid) CarPlay.

Can you swipe down on it to make it go away?

Seen this before - goes away if you swipe down - yes as others said its just showing that the phone is not using BT but Carplay. These tiles can get confusing - i dont usually do Carplay but when I do use it or for some reason I have seen these types of multiple phone tiles. Never been a problem though except the usual issues /delays switching between Carplay and BT

I do not like CarPlay but I use it sometimes when I want to listen to streaming SiriusXM stations that are not available on the radio.

What delays between CarPlay and Bluetooth? I thought CarPlay was exclusively Wi-Fi for everything?
