TX Heat and Driving All Day?!

Does anyone here drive all day in the Texas heat? I have been the last 3 weeks and even though I am not having an issue, I am curious. I do get an opportunity to get back in my garage mid day on and off and when I do so I immediately plug in the ME.

We have more weeks of 100 degree weather and I am just a little concerned if I will develop some kind of heat related issue. My ME is a 2023 GT.

I always have plugged in whenever I'm home, regardless of temps. (have max SOC set to 80%)
Main reason is to not be caught with a low charge in case of an emergency but also so it can do battery temp management off the wall power if needed.

Recurrent isn't viewed real positively here if you do some searching. They often have made statements that most don't agree with. I didn't read the article, but if they tell you that driving your car in Texas, Arizona, etc. is a problem this year, you should ignore them. The car is designed for both extreme heat and extreme cold. Relax, and enjoy it.

So we dont have any issues with the ME coz they are tested out the ying yang? Lol - dont get me wrong love my ME.

But they forgot to test in the desert heat?!

Of course not. Mach-Es were observed testing on Arizona and Nevada highways and fast chargers and so forth several times, pre-public release.
