i am seriously thinking of returning my Mach E at lease end. i replaced the factory fitted shocks with the KW coilovers.

i am wondering if Ford will price down the Mach E with that?

mileage is well within my lease range.

Put simply, they could, if they notice. Unless KW coilovers are a Ford approved item? My advice put it back to stock before returning at the end of the lease to avoid a nasty invoice.
Too late now but with all due respect, modding a lease car or any car you intend to hand back either via a PCP or lease is very very unwise unless your intention is to remove the mods beforehand.

While I am not in the UK, I don't think it makes much difference where you are when returning a leased car. As wenklaw said above, it's probably best to return the car back to stock because you run the risk of the dealer charging you for them to do so. I also think it depends on what you've done, if the dealer notices it and if they even care.

That said, on my leased '21 Premium, I did these mods: had the gloss black wheel well fender trims painted the body color (Infinite Blue), lowered the car with GT lowering springs, tinted windows all around, added AOSK mud flaps, added AOSK's sport pedal covers and dead pedal cover, drilled two 2" access holes (then capped them) above the LVB positive and negative connections in the frunk, replaced steering wheel with a custom space gray trimmed leather one to match the seats, added AOSK fake carbon fiber trim on steering wheel, console and door panels, added ambient lighting in the rear doors, removed the Mach-E emblems on the driver and passenger doors, eliminated the pedestrian warning and backup sounds, wired the pony puddle lights to come on anytime the doors are opened or car is remotely unlocked, added a NAVIKS motion lockout bypass device for Sync, sound deadened entire car, added a physical liftgate open/close button, tinted exterior reflector, third brake light and backup light lenses.

Ten months after I leased this car, my friend in Arizona assumed the lease when I leased my '21 GTPE. He kept the '21 Premium until the Ford Options Lease was over and traded it in last year for a '24 GTP. The dealer checked out and drove the '21 Premium before they took it in and said nothing about the mods I mentioned above. Only two things he removed were the Lloyds floor mats and JL Audio subwoofer that I did not mention.

On my leased '21 GTPE, I did ALL the mods I listed above on my '21 Premium PLUS added Eibach front and rear anti-sway bars, Steeda 3-point strut bar, applied gloss black vinyl wrap to upper area of rear tail light sections and liftgate, replaced center armrest with BSKT custom leather/Alcantara one to match seats, removed the warning stickers on both sun visors, installed JL Audio amp, added BSKT real forged carbon fiber trim on steering wheel, console, doors and dash in satin finish, installed EV-Vida interior accent lighting kit on doors, dash and rear footwells, installed FITCAMX dash cam and rear camera. I kept this car for 3 years and returned it last year when the Ford Options Lease was up for my current '24 GTP. The only things I removed were the Lloyds carpeted mats, Suma rearview mirrors, JL Audio subwoofer and TWRAPS dual wireless phone charger pad which I did not mention above. The dealer checked out and drove my car and said nothing about my mods.

Now, I have to say I was planning on keeping my '21 Premium after the lease was up until I found out Ford was coming out with a GT version. Once I got the '21 GTPE, I was planning on keeping that one too after the lease but Ford had such good incentives on the new '24's I traded it in for a GTP. I've done most all of the above mods and some different ones on my current leased '24 GTP and again, I plan to keep this one after the lease is up (we will see 😊).

I didn't mention with both cars that were turned in, they had custom staggered wheel/tire setups and both dealers swapped them for the ones that were on the new cars being leased because of course we wanted to keep them.

Aye, it’s not OP’s property to modify so had no right to do so.

I used to own and run a de-fleet operation examining c1,000 cars per month and can say that IF they are switched on enough to notice there’s likely to effectively be a dilapidation charge!
