Just bit the bullet on new Cross Climate 3 Sport for the GT, was so impressed with the CC2s on my FE thought I would take the leap after watching the cost of these increase month over month from the start of the new year, pls Mitchelin have the £100 promo on until the end of the month for those interested - https://www.michelin.co.uk/promotions-michelin/auto . will update on how these play out, but so far from a small run, way better than the summer OEMs that come with the GT

Been in CC2s for about 70,000 miles, V impressed, especially after running on the crappy Conti summer tyres they fitted to Stangy as standard - was like driving a 1973 MkIII 2.0GT Cortina, couldn’t keep the arse end straight😂😂😂

Quick Silver needs a new stable and I need your selling wisdom.

Right, deep breath. Cancer’s decided my hip is its new postcode, which means no driving for 18–24 months. Quick Silver, the finest car I’ve ever owned, and I don’t say that lightly, is not the sort of horse you leave standing in the paddock. She needs someone to gallop her properly.

So I’m letting her go, and I’d love the hive mind’s advice on the fastest, least-painful route to a sale. I’ve got quite enough hassle queued up already so want to avoid tyre-kickers (the actual tyres are immaculate, mind).
  • 2021 Premium AWD Extended Range, Iconic Silver
  • 61,500 miles, fully updated, zero gremlins
  • Ford Protect 8yr / 100k extended warranty to September 2029
  • Serviced more often than strictly necessary; call it affection
  • Fresh tyre sealant kit
  • Two-stage machine polish completed roughly five minutes before the consultant said “so, about that MRI…” She has, naturally, never looked better
WBAC? Motorway? Private? If you’ve sold one quickly and cleanly recently, tell me how.

Been a joy owning her. Been an even bigger joy being among you lot. 🙏

I believe people swear by "motorway". If you garaged your car for 2 years I expect either depreciation of circa £500 a month OR a change in the market and the massive depreciation mache's are currently experiencing bouncing back ! Right now in my opinion is a buyers market for 2nd hand mache's. Horrendous values at the moment. Wishing you the best for your health.

REALLY sorry to hear about your diagnosis and hope they get you sorted out.

They’re amazing, I’m sure they will.

I haven’t sold mine just yet, nearly did a few times and nearly gifted it to son but mine sounds largely the same as yours save for an additional 60k on the clock.

Private sale is likely to get you best price but it’s a ship load of grief what with the sharks, fraudsters, time-wasters etc bring to your door and inbox.

If I didn’t give it to the kids and I came to sell mine, the way I’d look at is that if I bought a new one and part exchanged mine against a newselling via WBAC or others will provide a trade-in value so wouldn’t have lost anything.

That’s the way I’d go if I were you.

I wish you a speedy trouble free sale and the very best in your treatment & recovery.

And WHEN you’re out the other side and/or feel ready in the meantime for it, PM me if you fancy a meet, a coffee & bite and a ride, maybe I’ll have a new GT Rally by then if I get through this cogitative state.

Much Mustang love & best wishes😍

Thanks mate, may just take you up that. Sounds like I may be able to buy an off road mobility scooter and fold up one for travelling with the proceeds from my Mach-e 😀
