For the windscreen work the dealers are not allowed to book you in until your VIN has the recall assigned to it.
Frustraitingly, given I'm booked in for Monday for the Roof & 21P22, the windscreen 21C22 recall just popped up on my phone. If TrustFord Epsom return my calls I'm going to try and combine to the existing booking, but likely I'll push it all out until I can fit into a single job.

In the end I only got 21p22 software update applied. Nothing on the window OR roof, & those have been pushed back to mid-April now ?

I wouldn't have bothered with 21p22 on its own normally, but have some long distance trips coming up and so is useful to get the higher fast charging curve. It also appears to have fixed the issues I was having with sticking doors/lock buttons.

checked in my car for pano, windshield and software update.

dealer tells me this is the first MachE they will be working on for this work which makes me uneasy.

when i took in the car today, the manager acknowledged that i might be feeling nervous since it was the first MME they were doing this work for and hence wanted me to feel reassured.

they have given me a Mach E 4X Infinity Blue as a loaner.

i am blown away! super impressed by their professionalism.

i have read some posts where loaner vehicles were ICE or no loaner offered. in fact, they said they weren't giving any loaners when i called to book my recall.

fingers crossed everything works out well.

my dealer is now saying the third party, which i presume is the windshield fitter, haven't confirmed yet when they can come in to do the work ...

i find that weird. i would have thought they would book me only when all the Ts have been crossed.

i have a MME 4X to drive so not worried, but how common is this?

Mines been pushed back until mid-April for exactly that reason, at least they are being honest about dates.

I have mine booked in for 2 weeks' time.
worth asking if they have all the parties actually lined up.

the only reason i am very okay with my situation is i got a MME 4X loaner for as long as my Mustang is with the dealer.

Similar to others had the first recall work done only to get the second recall about 2 weeks later. Dealer has been good though. They have a policy where they keep a MACHE as a loner purely for MACHE owners and do all their bookings on that basis plus saves me a valet fee!

Told Trust Ford when I placed the order for a Mach-e they needed to keep a Mach-e loan car. First time in for a fix, no problem had a Mach-e loan car for a couple of days.
Next time in no loan car and they need my car overnight for software upgrade. They collected the but brought it back 2hours later. The specialist guy to do the software upgrade didn't turn up that day! Next time they had no one to collect the car and no loan car. Had to deliver and collect my car! What rubbish service. For a £50k car I expect much better!
Now we have a recall for battery contactor issues. This one is "we will do a software patch it while you wait". Not impressed at all. Wondering what will happen when I turn up for this software patch.
The way the recall email is written it makes no sense. Not going to fix a hardware problem with software. Reading in other parts of the forum makes me think the software patch is going to do two things 1. reduce the applied power if the contactor gets hot. 2. de-sense the traction battery voltage monitoring on startup. If I've got this right it would have been really nice if Ford had just said that in the recall notice.
Incidentally I've had one occurrence of the "Powertrain Malfunction" fault. Trust Ford told me that the last software upgrade would fix this fault. Can't trust a word they say.
Glad some of you are getting a better service than me.

My MME EX AWD is in for the software Contactor update on Aug 23rd in Wokingham, where the service guy told me I need to drop the car off, early am, and they will need it all day. No mention or offer of a loaner. Also, after being told that the windscreen update would need to be done at a later date when I took delivery, I am now told it doesn’t need it after all. Not sure of exact build date, but took delivery in Jan this year. Seems there are 2 levels of customer service at this dealer!
It may now be the case that my ME was built with the mod included, unless of course, any of you very-knowledgeable fellow owners know more! 🤔😎
