Had you already paid the £500 from confirming the order?

I hadn't pre-ordered. So both my orders (or all four including my business partners) we paid a £1k deposit. Which was refunded by the dealer on cancellation. Rebecca confirmed that any deposit is refundable, but any deposits under 90 days can only be actioned to refund my dealer. Anything over 90 days can be done via the Ford website.

If you place a new order and it says 10 weeks all the way through check out then that would certainly mean it's a cancelled preorder which is already in transit and you should get it sooner than the one which is still in production.

Awaiting shipment I assume is a new one for the sheet?

I think that is the logical next step. I was always thinking it would go from in production to awaiting shipment to shipped to in transit. In English I would assume meant off the end of the line to the car park onto the train to docks and then on a ship. Once it has left the factory its technically classed as shipped. Mine went straight from in production to in transit.

I believe it's because they don't want to use incentives here right now as demand is very high and supply is limited. but in the USA they are bending over backwards to provide incentives.

Is that because over here people keep ordering 2 with a plan to cancel the slowest order? I’m joking, sort of. That’s got to be messing with Ford’s numbers though.

Well it would seem I am one of those people too.
I wanted space white but I now have a rapid red which looks like it may well come in earlier.

In regards to order status options - in the spreadsheet I've gone with the options that the order tracker originally gave. Is this a new status?

@portlandg did you know the first ship already left on 9th Jan?
Tomorrow's ship should get in on 6th May. I've just been given an estimated delivery of 15th May for my Rapid Red, while my original order is now being built later in the week.

The one that left on 9th Jan only had a few cars on it. I don't think there were any UK cars. I think they were all the press cars that the reviewers have been driving.
The ship we are all waiting for at the moment was due into Antwerp 10th March (might be delayed a bit) from were the cars will come to UK. I cannot for the life of me see that they will keep them in Antwerp for any longer than necessary. There are regular sailings from Antwerp to Southampton. I am still hopeful that end of March is a good bet.

Apparently there were some UK customer cars on there and some dealer models. The ones we have seen so far in the UK are going to be scrapped once these cars are here as they are preproduction models.

Thinking about it I bet they were the RHD drive ones that FordUK have registered and are probably for the Bosses and not cars for paying customers. There have been some spotted out and about.

I've just ordered a second Mach-e. I saw one available in 10 weeks in black ER RWD so I went for it. I'll probably keep both horses running (was that joke made before? sorry if its (c)) and see what happens... so I guess it's a cancellation.

I'll get the VIN and see what it tells me.... I'd prefer Grey but I like Black... bugger to clean but hay hum. Actually for the price difference I could probably wrap it.

Jon, I have a "spare" Grey RWD ER going if my FE arrives first! Although I have a feeling that 2 or 3 in the office may be after it.

I can't tell unless I drive my dealer mad (der). Since I changed dealer, the amazing, error free, Ford Website can't cope with a dealer change. No surprise there then.

That was my idea! I ordered #2 when I found out that my First Edition was going to be 24 weeks back in December but I have a string of people wanting my 2nd car so I'm taking both.
