Ford have sent a bulletin to dealers for a software patch by end April
This should resolve issues with usb warning and lane assist issues
I just logged on to check the dealership memos .....

Regretfully it's the same dealer memo they have been re-dating and re-issuing for the last two months....

There is one other snippet of news today... Mach-E's integration with Apple Maps via CarPlay has been further enhanced with the release of iOS 15.4 yesterday.

For Mach-E customers using Sync Version 21197 and higher (aka Power-Up 2.3) Apple Maps is now able to obtain live battery data from the vehicle, and is able to suggest recharge points during navigation planning and routing.

This news has been announced by Ford US here on the forum, but there is no mention if this is geographically restricted to the US only at this time.

We need someone with a 2021 model with Power-Up 2.3 or any 2022 model in the UK to confirm/test. ?

Pre-departure conditioning has stopped working when unplugged again.
Has anyone else had this issue?
I’ve not changed anything and it’s been working fine for months.

I think my 2022 is on the same ship.

My car went compound out at Veracruz on 26/02/22 the same day the Grimaldi lines vessel was in port. Ford have always used that line, so it’s not too much of a stretch to assume that’s the one.

The whereismymme site is awesome, but I don’t think the shipping manifest numbers are being updated. You’ll probably find that it will next update when your car goes compound in at Antwerp and tracking will resume.

In the meantime keep an eye on MarineTraffic.com - the ship has just arrived in NYC, and I think it’s next stop is Antwerp.
It's on it's way at last. Fingers crossed it doesn't spend quite so long in Antwerp this time. Surely they have ironed out most of the issues that ours went there for by now. ???

When you say unplugged do you mean that your car is NOT attached to external power. If yes then you need to go to the FordPass app and allow start when unplugged.

The Grande Torino is sailing back down east coast of the USA. However the Dugong Ace left Veracruz at the same time and docked Antwerp 16th March

Mine went in to the dealer today for some diagnostics 1) the sync screen keeps resetting itself and 2) where are my OTA updates? The dealer did all the diagnostics and found no errors in the hardware, but he said they'd spoken to Ford Engineering and the screen resetting is a known issue on Job 1 cars (built before June 2021) and that an OTA to address the problem is coming in Q2! Which I guess is the same fix for all these OTA issues and the APIM acting up.

They also checked my screen batch number and it needs to be redone. They did a steam check to test the defrost strips, but they didnt know what they're supposed to see so sent it to Ford Engineering and awaiting response. This is the first one they have done  so not sure what to look for and how long it takes to get a response. They'll be in touch when they know if its a complete replacement or a remove and re-seal. But I'm not sure I want my car to be the first one they do.

Yea remote start is always switched on.
It didn’t work at all when unplugged until an update and then it worked for a good few months. Now it’s stopped again.

I think our cars are all on the same ship together! Compound out exactly the same, 26/2/22.

I agree and think they are on the Grande Torino.

After A LOT of searching, I have been able to locate a website where you can check ships travelling between two locations. The Grande Torino is scheduled to arrive at Antwerp on 28th March. I am hoping that the trackers will update then and we will all know for sure that they have arrive in Antwerp!

Here the point to point tracker:

Guys This is the schedule for Grande Torino (that is just sailing between USA ports since 10th March, could not have left Veracruz on 26th sailed to Antwerp and got back to USA in that short of time) and the ship that left Veracruz on 26/2/22 (Dugong Ace) and arrived Antwerp 16/3/22. It was at anchor on 15/3/22. I believe they were on this one rather than Torino, unless they did not ship from Veracruz on 26th Feb and compound out means nothing, although I have had email to say its on its way.

Hiya

I don’t think anyone has implied that Grande Torino has been already been to Antwerp and got back to USA in double quick time.

We found last year that the ships were notorious for stopping off at almost every east coast US port and slowly making their way north before finally making the final transatlantic leg of the journey. Quite often there appears to be absolutely no logic in shipping itineraries, but I can tell you one thing - none of the 2021 shipments went on anything like a direct route to Antwerp - and they never seem to be in a hurry which makes it all the more frustrating!

In addition to the above Ford has always traditionally used Grimaldi as their shipping company for Mach-E which Grande Torino belongs to. Dugong Ace belongs to Mitsui OSK Lines.

If our cars were on Dugong Ace which docked in Antwerp on 16th March we would have seen our car status update to ā€œCOMPOUND IN - ANTā€, and unfortunately this hasn’t happened either.

I’m not trying to discredit anyone or any assumptions, but I’ve been at this Mustang tracking game for year now and my gut is telling me Torino is the one…. But I’m first to admit I’m not always 100% right.

Lets see what new info comes up in the next few days, but I’ll try and get the manifest number so we can check individual VIN numbers onboard.

Great. All I intended was to point out that the Torino is scheduled back to us ports and that the ace left veracruz on the date I had an email saying on the way also on the where's my showed in transit so put 2 and 2 together.
