you might want to consider EV specialists, I contacted a guy James from WeareEV based in Bristol whom offered a very decent price (more than motorway and WBAC) would have picked up from my home (scotland) FOC. In the end I sold to a dealer in Chorley I’d had some previous dealings with. Gets picked up tomorrow. Good luck if you decide to sell. ?
what are you replacing it with if you don't mind sharing?

Sure, I’ve bought a Cupra Born V3 with eboost. It won’t be as plush and fancy as the mustang, but with my current not huge miles and town driving more suited, have teen kids so they are hardly with us all of the time. Mustang went an hour ago.

Well based on the 2 price rises wasn’t too bad. I bought in Feb at £41,330 just sold £43,500. ?? garage will no doubt aim for circa £50k ?? but I am happy with the deal.

Since i got let down by the ev point installer (third company) had to charge at the tesla supercharger in Manchester. Worked perfectly first time, but got some looks when i pulled up and plugged in. Very expensive 62p per kwh, but charged from 5% to 85% in about 30 mins.

I had the same experience trying to get a Hypervolt fitted. Gave up in the end, and had a Zappi fitted by these guys https://mcnallyev.uk/.

I just checked my build status, and it says the car is now built. Just had to share that :)

Good News! Give it a few weeks and you too will be an expert in car transport ships and their schedules. Probably about 8-10 weeks to get shipped, processed and shipped to the uk.

Should have my charger installed next week. Gave up with the national companies, just bought the easee charger and getting a local electrician to do it. Can’t get the 350 quid grant although i am eligible but most places won’t do non standard installs (underground car park with 35m cable run to the meter)

Good result today Power Up 2.6 unstuck on my car and installed this afternoon.

seem to have sync version 21233, which is a pain as I was hoping to get apple maps EV routing.

Sync version 21233 ? That's a new build number which is bizarrely between 2.1 (21174) and the old 2.3 (21281) that got re-branded to 2.6 - but is too low for CarPlay EV Routing?

That's not at all confusing !

Just for reference the new UK 2022 models are coming out the factory with 21297.

Interestingly mine is showing version 22087. My last update was the HVJB recall software done by my dealer. Last OTA update was 2.6 on 20 June

Just to further confuse, I have checked the car this morning and it’s showing 22087 R415 and have check that the EV routing is working!

Weirdly this shows on the Sync screen:
Ford Mustang Mach-E UK Customers E46E13B0-4E1D-4C8A-9815-3DF6FBB6A6CF

and this is on the widget from the API data that Ford hold:
Ford Mustang Mach-E UK Customers 381C6FFC-13BF-44AF-849D-E201B810FC3A

So the version information is all a bit of a mystery! But it seems to have all the features of everyone else’s 2.6, even the picture of the F150 to colour in.

Against my better judgement, and after a lot of persuasion from my grandchildren (amongst others), I have agreed to go camping this weekend. I am at the age where I do enjoy my creature comforts but then I thought that it would be a great time to try out the frunk storage as an ice cooler. Must admit, I am looking forward to seeing the surprised look on peoples faces when I pull out a cold can from the frunk. Should be interesting as long as it works as in the adverts that Ford put out in the early days. I'll let everyone know the result on Sunday/Monday. It's bound to rain though. ? ?

My Mach E hasn't melted or caught fire I the heat.

I have been using it as my aircondionted office the last couple of days.

That's a win.

I made an important discovery during the heatwave…. The melting point of the glue used on the sticky strips that hold on your license plate is an air temperature of approx 38°C ?

???
