So I'm going to be checking the Ford website every day for an update. Good luck to those who have a date for the build.

Just to be clear the dates are only available by talking to your Ford Dealership you nominated during your pre-order. Unfortunately the build info is not available online for anybody in the UK yet.

Just looked on my ford account and there is not any changes on there. Just have to hope that my dealer keeps an eye on Vista and lets me know when there are any changes on there

Once they open the site for order conversion (Step 2) I can see our orders skipping along the progress indicator quite quickly. Technically today we are at Step 5 already!

Your dealer should ring you this week. If they don’t, ring them and find out... or just ring them now and ask.

Judging by the fact that the Donkey was the earliest order we know and he is getting his in March, the same time as Grahame who ordered in Feb, then I would be surprised if those who ordered late get delivery any later than May. I think mine was the exception... or, as Tony pointed out to me, everyone with a March delivery seems to be getting a RWD.

I was sure we used to have some other UK forum members who had ordered First Editions. They seem to have disappeared though. Maybe they got bored and cancelled?

There's been a theory for a while that Ford might just make a couple of batches of Mach-E's for the UK, and by pre-ordering you are just securing one from stock that is already going to be made.

While deliveries to customers will be processed in the order in which they were received, you may find the wait time is not as long as you think.

There must be economies of scale in only having a couple of shipments and keeping the allocated stock locally rather than shipping them from Mexico in dribs and drabs.

I think you’re dead right. I think UK orders were lagging compared to the US and possibly Europe. Still today you’re seeing ads for Mach E’s all across social, which makes me think they have earmarked a certain number of RHD for Production and they’ve not sold them all, but they are still going to build that number.
