UPDATE:

Car was charged to 100% last night and i got the notification. I figured this was a good sign since it was able to be moved to get to the charger. Called ford and still nothing no status from my service rep.
I feel annoyed i always have to call him or talk to his peers for an update. Ill update when i know more.

Can you let us know what type of compensation Ford is going to provide you for being without a car this long?

No compensation besides the normal “off road for 30 days” which i had with Hyundai and Jeep as well. They make the next car payment or reimburse.

The only true “compensation” I should get is something for being stranded for 7 hours while tow trucks accepted then declined to tow my car. But we will see…

UPDATE:
Dealer just called and told me they got the part in last night and they updated the cars firmware (saw it on my ford pass app)

he said its ready to go but FORD themselves directed him to keep it for the next three days to ensure the issue does not arise again ?

They told me it was the 12v battery control module that fried. Its located under the rear seat.

UPDATE: I was told that today it would be ready at 5PM. Got a call 45 minutes ago that they are still in it with a laptop as its throwing more codes. I can see on the app that its throwing high engine temperature warnings.

What scares me is he says ill get all the info tomorrow for you insinuating that it wont even be done tomorrow.

Can't we all come together and do something about this? We have a class action lawsuit on our hands here. I watched it happen with Dodge, my grandfather got a payout due to the issues with the truck. Anyone who bought one got a payout. I don't want to be one of those but right now I have a hefty payment for a car that either won't start, doesn't give me the battery range I paid for (ext range), has glitches (randomly says to check the seatbelts in the back), the screen won't come up, or it just stops on me while driving, amongst other things! I am given a gas rental so I am paying for my car AND for gas (in California of course) so I am double screwed there. I actually got as far as to have the dealership order me a new car but apparently the Ford Mustang plant is closed because they cant get chips in. We have to come together about this!

Looks like I’m the next contestant on the “Stop Safely Now” club! Stuck in a parking lot waiting for the flatbed. Tow company confirmed they can tow it as long as I can get it into neutral - which I confirmed I can do using Emergency Tow Activation.

Waiting to see which part is bad - 12V battery or HVB module. And how long until parts can be delivered.

If it sits for more than a month, will Ford make a payment for me? I really don’t feel like making payments on a car I can’t drive.
