Unexpected unplug from charger

Everytime I have charged at home and unpluged the cable, I get a message in FordPass, that it has been unexpected unpluged or stopped.

I have tried several kombination:

Stopped the charging in FordPass
Stopped the charging at the Wallbox
Stopped the charging at the buttom on the car at the charging port


It´s pretty annoying, why ?

Is your charging location setup properly? I only get that error when:

1. I'm using a public charger
2. I unplug before I unlock the vehicle

Do you mean Prefered charing point in FordPass ?

In FordPass account settings, go to “Notification settings” where you can turn this off. At least in the US version.

You can turn that off in FordPass.

Account->Settings->Notification Settings->Charging Notification. Then under Vehicle Alerts, click Manage Individual Notifications and turn off Accidental Unplug.

Are you unplugging before the planned departure time and/or before the car has charged to its target charge level?

He he, yes that's a good question

Set your charge limit lower so it finishes. Then you won't get the message.
