Unlock doors - What am I missing

When I stop the car and put it in park, I am unable to unlock the doors. The door locked light shows "on" and no amount of pushing the unlock button will unlock the doors. The only way to unlock the passenger door is to open it or the driver's door. This occurs when stopping the car to pick up a passenger. What am I missing/have set incorrectly?

I just press unlock and the door unlocks. ??‍

You probably need to take it to the dealership, there isn’t a trick to unlocking the door.

go in the settings menu on sync 4 I think it's in "doors and locks" or something like that. There you can see the various options for what unlocks and what doesn't not sure this will fix your issue but give it a shot.

There is a setting marked “Switch Inhibit” in the area of Settings that @zvez mentioned. Make sure it is off. ??

Thanks. That setting was OFF. I toggled it to ON just for kicks and the behavior remained the same: When the car is on and parked, I can lock the doors with the interior button, but I cannot unlock them.

I set it back to OFF, rechecked and it still doesn't unlock.

I will follow up with Ford.
