I thought per the shutdown thread, the shutdown ended Jan 4.?
This is correct. The plant resumed operations on Jan 4th. My Mach-E was finally produced that day.
Long ago in my early guesstimates I speculated that because Three Kings Day is an important part of the Christmas holidays in latino cultures that the plant would close for two weeks. That was long since dispelled by factory insiders who knew the plant was only scheduled for a little over a week of closure.
My window sticker wasn't available till the Thursday-Friday before my build week, so I wouldn't loose faith just yet.
Interesting, thanks. Most people are reporting their window sticker appearing a couple of weeks before their build date. I wonder what actually triggers it.
Window stickers have generally become available the day the secondary status shifts to "Sent to Plant". That's when it enters the actual production queue at the plant.
That makes sense. So maybe the lead time is affected by how quickly the plant is currently moving.
And the length of the backlog.
Apologies, it was somebody on here that gave the shutdown from the 24th to Three Kings Day so perhaps they weren't correct?
Because people who have access to Vehicle Visibility have seen their secondary status change to "sent to plant", checked the window sticker link and suddenly could access their stickers.
Sorry, I worded my question poorly. I meant, how can I know when that has changed?
Only folks with access to Vehicle Visibility can see the secondary status.
