Has anyone successfully have their car install this update PT-25.24.18? It has failed multiple times for me indicating low 12V. I tried after an 80 mile trip and it failed. I then let the car run on my driveway for 1 hour and it failed again. I have a 23 GTPE that is 18 months old so I’m really hoping it’s not the battery. I called support and they stated to bring the car to the dealership. Based on past experience with my dealership I’d rather ignore the update then have to deal with them keeping my car for 2 weeks for a simple update.

I eventually got it to install after multiple fails by charging for 9hrs on level 1, that charged up the battery enough for it to install.

My dealership did the update in 45 minutes while I waited.

I suggest asking EV Support for a list of EV Competent dealers near you. If you are in a rural area, that may not help you. For me, though, there are 5 dealers closer to me than the 2 they consider EV Competent. I was still within the mobile service range of those 2 dealers!

I got update PT-25.24.18 via OTA just over a week ago and it installed successfully on the first try during the overnight update schedule. Don't know if it mattered for this update but I have a relatively fresh 12v battery that I installed back in August. It's a 22 GT so I made sure to replace it at the 3 year mark from its build date, as is often discussed here in the forum. If your 23 GTPE has an early build date then it is conceivable that the LVB is approaching the three year mark. That could have nothing to do with your current update failing but worth mentioning.

Did yours fail before taking it to the dealer?
Never took it to the dealer and I would really like to avoid that. Last time it went in for an update it sat in their lot for close to a week before they brought it into the shop. No loaner was available. I would rather go without the update then go through that again
