After long 5 day non use, comeback get a message, Mach has been in deep sleep restart vehicle manually.

Ok, started with key fob but do not see both Mach E BT links in devices on my BT settings. Note: there are two BT controllers in a MachE, one for near distance and one for long distance. The near distance controller "Mach E" pops up, I says connected but still cannot open door.

The second controller long distance has a description like 204312 Mach or something close. I never see this one in my BT list.

Cannot use PAAK

Ok so first of all what version of FordPass do you have? If it was recently updated then you might need to reset PaaK. There's a couple threads about this.

Second, just so you know, the two bluetooth connections you have on your phone are for PaaK and Sync. It's not about range, it's about their function with the car.

Ok so if you have 3.35.2 then it was auto updated and yes it might have invalidated the key used to authenticate with the car. You'll have to setup PaaK anew.

If you have auto update turned on for FordPass then it's likely that 3.35.0 was downloaded. 3.35.0 had an issue where it would break keys for some users. 3.35.2 was the fix for this so just redeliver your key and you should be good to go.

I have owned vehicle for 6 months and have gone through several PAAK procedures. I am not a novice but I have no idea what "redeliver your key" means or how to start a redeliver procedure.

Must be another Android developer with Ford. Most people don't know what redeliver means here. That's developer speak. Tell them they need to reset PaaK in the vehicle and re setup PaaK from the phone.

Ah, apologies. It means that you should go to the key list screen (Vehicle Details -> Features and Settings -> PaaK Key Settings) then click the delete button on the side of the key that you named (It'll say (me) next to it). When you go back to Home you should see "Setup Phone as a Key" button. You should be able to go through setup again. That is one way to "Redeliver a key".

The other way is to uninstall the app and then do a PaaK reset in the vehicle.

I assume all these action take place on the 16" humungous screen in my beloved MACH E and not on my Android phone.

Actually the first process that I described is entirely on the phone. The second option involves the Mach-e
