Curious what folks are getting for range now-a-days? Cold (-10ish) in CO today so I charged to 100% to get a bit more range, only made it to 215 miles.

That's really great. At -10ºF I'd only expect about 160 miles.

This is a very old thread, no one has more complete data? Our machE is garaged, and while not specifically heated it remains considerably warmer than outdoors .... with more or less daily usage, and charging range seems to be less than 20% impaired (indeed, if heat/defrost not on, closer to 10%).

We seldom drive terribly far in a single trip these days, so we might be misled by the SoC computations done by Ford ... but I don't think so. We also have two LEAFs, and those are parked outside and typically are also showing about 25% impairment ... considering they have virtually no battery pack temp management, and are outside I expect that they represent more impairment than the MachE.

What's everyone else seeing?

Ignore the GOM and look at your MPK.

I think a 30-40% loss of range for very cold temps.

The GOM will tell me I have 220 miles of range on a cold day when I leave but then drops very fast particularly when I get below 1/2 battery. I use 150 miles of range... so 1.5 times the percent to get actual values when on a road trip and that is very accurate at 70-75mph below 20 deg F. If I trusted the GOM I'd been stuck on a recent trip to Chicago from Madison, WI.

My wife drives with the heat on full blast and windows open for "fresh air". Needless to say, range is not great.
