Deep sleep is intended to prevent battery drain from the Imbedded Modem. It usually shouldn't activate until it's been parked for a while (usually about 1-2 weeks). All Ford vehicles with FordPass have this feature.

As to why it's happening, I'm not sure. I would start troubleshooting by removing the fuse that runs the telematics (imbedded modem) for 5 minutes. I believe it's fuse #11 in the BCM fuse box in the passenger footwell. Next I would move on to the LVB (the 12 v under the hood) and test that. (sounds like you've had this looked at).

If neither of those works, I'd take a look at anything that could be a battery drain.

Does the vehicle display "System off to save Battery" at any point on the center stack screen?
I have seen that message twice on the center screen.

Yes more than once in the 4months l have had the car it has been in the dealership for 6weeks. I have raised this with the Ford Mustang help line and received an email Friday saying they are work basically saying that they don't know how to fix it. I was just wondering if anyone else is in this position
Save the email. This is a slam dunk lemon law situation. There are lots of lawyers who specialize and who get paid By the manufacturer.

While we’re on the subject of LVB, does anyone know what the charge mode numbers mean? I’ve seen a couple different in Car Scanner like below, but I can’t find what they each mean

Mine does this too. I didn’t think it was a bug but it’s really annoying that I can’t check any of the stats when I leave it parked for a while. Whenever I’m on vacation, I wanna see if the charge is going down at all.
A lock or unlock should wake it up and restore connectivity, but I never tried this long distance.

The problem is that neither lock nor unlock work over the air while the car is in deep sleep mode.

Once it's in deep sleep mode the only way to wake it up is to go and sit in it and start it up it's very annoying.

My car just put itself in deep sleep mode after a Shift System Fault and now I can't even get in the car.

I have the same problem and i live in Denmark Europe. I don't know what to do.
The message reads. " Your Vehicle is in "Deep sleep" and cant be connected to. Manually turn on your vehicle to deactive this condition". It pops up an hour after parking and no remote features work after that.

I had a phone conversation with my MME helpline case liaison on Monday and was told that the OTA fix could take several months to arrive
