A few weeks back a strange sound started to appear when riding i slow speed over even minor bumps.

After visiting a local shop, they immidiately knew it was the front sway bar that needed to be replaced.

"Don't worry it is under warranty" they said sounding like this happens all the time.

I can't find any discussion on this forum where people have mentioned this before (however, google is NOT my friend ;)

Anyone else has a similar experience?

I have not heard of any OEM anti-sway bars coming loose. That doesn’t mean that it’s not happening. ?‍♂?

Can you describe the sound? When the end links on my aftermarket bar were loose, it made a rather pronounced clunking sound when articulating the suspension. When they needed grease, they made a less pronounced clunking sound but also made a groaning/grinding sound. ??

Did the shop say whether it was the bar itself that was loose or the end links? ??

This is indeed the original swapbar and I haven't adjusted anything. :)

Well "sound to text" is always a bit tricky, but I would say it is "clonky" a bit metallic sound. Sounds like something is loose.
When riding over a small bump or similar it's a "cla-clonk" like something moved out of position and back again.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to see what it looked like, but they said it was loose and that they needed to replace it. Dunno if it was really needed to replace it, but as they said it was under warranty I am not complaining.

I don't know if this video helps @HuntingPudel to better understand the sound it is making

They left a Bolt loose on my front sway bar when they replaced the front clicking cv joint (axle).

The video sounds a lot like when I had a loose end link nut. I would just get in there with a 18mm wrench and make sure all 4 of the end link nuts are tight. If you’re going to have it up in the air to ensure those are tight, might as well hit the frame bracket bolts with a 13mm wrench to make sure they’re tight. ??

Just wanted to follow up on this.
Our car shop replaced the entire sway bar (at no cost) and it's like new car again!

Just last night I got my car back from the dealer. It's a 2022 with 50k miles on it, and I have a knocking sound in the right right wheel. The dealer said that it wasn't the sway bar that needed replacing, but the mount where the sway bar connects to is normally packed with grease. He said mine was a "dry socket" and they needed to replace the mounting point, repack with grease. About 200 dollars in repair, and I'm all good. Took them about 1 hour of shop time (+100 dollars in parts).

Can't tell if yours is the same, but I wonder if the dealer is going for a more expensive repair (if it is still under warranty).

When you brought your car in, did they have you reproduce the issue on a test drive with a tech? I have some squeaking noise coming from my suspension as well, but I'm unsure if it's just due to cold weather, or if its something that needs to be looked into further.

No. Just brought it to the dealer, they drove it, said they heard the noise. I don't what the diagnostic procedure is for confirming, but I don't think it is straight forward. I had another place look at it about 6 months earlier, and they said everything looked good (nothing loose or leaking). If i had to guess they had previously solved this issue with another car, and once they figured it out, my car was obvious.
