At 33,700 miles I replaced the OG tires with Hankooks. All is well. So far, all of a day later.
What was weird was when the tire store were done, the tire pressure reading on the back right tire was 5 lbs lower than the others. I figured after swapping the tires the monitoring system might need to figure things out, so I wasn't terribly worried. But that said, since just one was low and I was there, I asked them to double check. The tire pressure was, in the real world, where it should be.
As I was driving home, the pressure measurement went up a few lbs. All is good, it's catching up, great.
Then, a few minutes later, it's the front right tire pressure that's a few lbs lower. The off-kilter measurement MOVED. Back right was correct and the front right, which had been fine is now a few lbs lower.
Weird.
