You can enable it in FORScan.
Um, no thanks. I’ll wait for an OTA (I found out that FORScan is Russian software and I don’t have a Windoze PC).

Been using FORScan for over 10 years with no issues and on my MacBook with VMware Fusion. Just saying....

Cool that it works under emulation. Are you on an intel or Apple silicon MacBook?

my reticence to Russian software is multi-fold:
1. I would prefer not to directly or indirectly support the Russian Federation (and their government) if I can avoid it. For example, I prefer grey goose to stolychnia (spelling?)
2. The software is both Russian and closed-source. Nobody can do a forensic analysis on it to determine what it might be gathering and sending back. I think of DeepSeek and middle eastern pagers as recent examples of what nation states are capable of (make something shiny and sparkly that all the cool kids want, and hide bad stuff in it).

yeah, I know, I sound like a tinfoil hat freak, but in past careers, I’ve learned that sometimes, tinfoil hats may be warranted 😀😀😀

Both. Had it on my Apple Intel and now on my Apple Silicon MacBook. I do have a Window's laptop which I bought only for the use of FDRS because you cannot use it on emulated software.

I have never been concerned with software gathering info and at 70+ not going to start now. 😊

Very cool that it works under emulation and on Apple Silicon!

I totally get it. As I said, I have a huge collection of tinfoil hats from over the years. I’m certainly not trying to encourage anyone else to join me on the bus to crazy town 😀

Ford has had the "Frost Warning" icon on cars since the late 90's. Most all of my F-150's, Escape's, Focus's and Mustangs have had them.

Interesting. BMWs have had the snowflake icon dating back 25+ years. On BMWs the icon lights at 37° F. Thinking it was an SAE standard, I thought all cars used 37°F. Maybe SAE bumped it 2 degrees.
Sounds like BMW went for 3 deg C and Ford went for 4 deg C. 🤷‍♂️🐩

My Mustang Mach-E is my first recent vintage ford that DOESN’T have one! Heck, even my late 1980s Probe had one (and, if memory serves, it also spelled out “ICE” in the “computer”)!

You’re right. Now I’m trying to remember which Ford vehicles I had that spelled “ICE”. For sure my XR4Ti and Scorpio did.

Yes my ‘89 XR4Ti was one of my favorite vehicles. I modded the crap out of that car. It was my second turbocharged car (first factory one). I had so much fun with it.
